On Feb. 21st, Dana Delany (Katherine Mayfair) had kissed Julie Benz (Robin the reformed stripper) on “Desperate Housewives.” According to Delany, this was just a plain kiss. Delany had also gone on to saying that it is not weird at all since it was only lips touching.

Once you have factored in the five year jump, Katherine had a very rough time with her poor relationship she had with Mike Delfino, her stint in the mental hospital along with stabbing herself. She truly could use the change of pace.

Delany had said that with the odd girl’s vulnerability, it is perfect to match hers.

It is very interesting. I have known many women in midlife that have gone through things like this, when their marriage did not work out right, and then they would question as to where they would be happy. Their priorities change. Katherine’s looking for the emotional connection, and this would be what’s going on with this very odd coupling. They truly are very odd together. So I am just very curious to know where they are going to take it.

After Meredith Baxter had come out, now it has influenced this storyline, Delany says how she also has friends whose mothers have left their husbands for woman, there had the lesbian relationships and returned to men.

This show is not just doing this for a stunt to get great ratings, they are doing this as the real life situations that have been going on for a long time. They are really responsible about this.
